Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Applied behavior analysis is defined as, "The science in which tactics derived from the principles of behavior are applied systematically to improve socially significant behavior and experimentation is used to identify the variable responsible for behavior change" (Cooper et al., 2020). Every ABA intervention is individualized to the client, in that an in-depth behavioral assessment and interview is conducted with every client prior to services being implemented. Client's and client stakeholders (caregivers, family members, etc.) are encouraged and given regular opportunities to provide input and feedback on our interventions, so that every client is receiving a service that meets their individual needs and aspirations.
